How to Apply Promotions on Microsite and WebPos
Promotions On WebPOS
Promotions - This option permits you to choose from existing promotions created. To apply promotions on the Webpos;
Click on Apply Discount. A modal with more fields will display on the screen.
Click on Choose promotion to select the promotion you want to apply.
Click on Choose Coupon to select the code that should apply to the order.
Click Apply and the coupon selected will be applied.
Custom Discount - This allows you to give customers instant discounts. It automatically creates a coupon that can be used just once. To create a custom discount, you select the promotion type from the dropdown which includes;
Percentage Discount on Cart - This is the discount percentage that should be deducted from the customer's order during checkout. When this type of Promotion is selected, a field will be provided to input the desired percentage, after which click on Apply and the discount will be applied. Note: Maximum discount value cannot be indicated on custom discount.
Fixed Amount on Cart - This is a fixed currency value discount on cart. When this type of promotion is selected a field where you input the fixed currency value applicable to that discount is provided. This fixed amount is deducted from the subtotal when applied.
Percentage Discount on Delivery - This type of Promotion is only applicable to the delivery fee. This discount value is given in percentage and is applied to only delivery fees
Promotions on the microsite are applied to the cart when an active coupon code is added. The coupon code takes effect and deducts the coupon equivalents on the customer's order during check out. The customer should input the coupon and click apply on the coupon field available on the checkout page.
