Understanding Inventory Dashboard/Reporting
Total Inventory Value: this is the total sum of the cost of inventory at hand. this value does not include expired stock.
Total Variance Cost: This is the total amount of inventory not accounted for during the last inventory count
Profit/Loss Value: Calculated from the total transaction completed by the restaurant.
The dashboard also contains Five (5) Reports which include:
Inventory Variance Report: This report shows the report of the last stock count carried out
Inventory Expiry Stock Report: This displays expired item and items that are two weeks to expiration. The expiration date is derived from the date entered when uploading a batch item.
Inventory Stock Level Report: This gives a breakdown of the current level of items in each inventory store. For an item to appear on this report, you must have added a batch.
Profit and Loss Report: This shows how much profit is made based on the unit cost of inventory and the price of menu items.
Inventory Shrinkage Log Report: This report shows a detailed account of inventory items shrinked.
